Unsurprising seeing as they had been told to do a high press from the start of the game and they must have covered miles today.
You would have thought that DA would have anticipated this and had some tactical changes in mind to protect our lead.

What is happening with Conditioning at this club it has hampered us now for the last few years with avoidable soft tissue injuries. It appears we won’t see Eisa again for weeks after doing his hamstring during a

Didn't Adams say they are back in tomorrow? Surely, a day off would be more beneficial?
Also, it sounded like he was glossing over the fact that Eisa had broken down in training. Unless I heard it wrong.Bronco, Hulmebantam and Bantamsteve like this. -

I have said before 7 days a week training/game is too much the players need to relax and unwind (get the hunger back)
Who on here works 7 days a week, week in week out and can still give it there all
Yes that's what he did at Morecambe (fed up of hearing about his past am more interested what he is doing now) but injuries and lack of match fitness can't be overlooked
As for Eisa I think he was politely saying he didn't want to talk about him for whatever reasonBronco, Hulmebantam and King Cole like this. -

However, my mental health is better when I think positively so, thanks for your concern, but I'll try to keep my posts positive rather than descending the steps of gloom by agreeing with every negative post.Stop hovering to collapse... Only those needing treatment should be in on Sunday not the rest of the team, Conditioning is important and players need a day off after a game to allow recovery or you will get soft tissue injuries, Most top coaches will say rest is as important as the physical side, Also give Adams time to review the game properly before the players come in on Monday for debriefing
It is poor to bring them all in and not in our best interest, Adams may not have a life but most players will and relaxation the day after a match is important both physically and mentallyBronco, King Cole and Bantamsteve like this. -
Questions need to be asked of the medical staff who signed off on Eisa before we signed him. Yet another player made of glass. Only BCAFC could make the same mistakes over and over again.

Was never like this in the 80's. Cant recall Hendrie or McCall or Campbell taking many sick days between them and the tackles were much more brutal. You only got a red card if you detached a limb or stood toe to toe punching the feck out of each other.

It boils down to lack of quality imo, fitness was an issue today but wouldn’t have needed to be if we’d been better in attack.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Gardscoigne and Fordy117 like this. -

Canavan has taken a while to come back, still cant be trusted to get back on the pitch?
I bet the players are queuing up to pick up these non contact niggles to get some time off the regime.

I'm not sure any of your above 3 mentioned cost us, the last goal was poor defending from a player who had done little wrong through out the game.Hulmebantam likes this. -

I think if we were fitter then Cooke would have had the energy to get onto Cooks pass and possibly got us in a position to get the 3rd goal we needed, however the lack of fitness after that caused us to sit back a bit and hand the initiative to Bristol.
wasnt suggesting the 3 players were responsible but they were the ones who looked most fatigued
The question is are we fit enough?Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Gardscoigne likes this. -
