    Just seen the Mike Ashley is taking PL to court for blocking the takeover of Newcastle. Looking for the decision to be reversed and damages and costs.

    First time anyone has test fit and proper rules in court.

    Will be interesting to see how it pans out, I thought it was against the rules to go to court regarding league/FA/UEFA decisions.

    The thing he seems to be missing is they didn't fail the fit and proper test. To do the fit and proper test they needed to be able to establish who was the actual new owner and they refused to provide transparent data on that, all they knew is it was a shady holding company with no solid information on who actually controlled it

    I don’t think he claims that they failed the test, it is more about them deciding that the Kingdom would be a director exercising control.

    He does like to take things to court and seems to do well, suppose his loses may not get press coverage, when he goes to court. We shall have to wait and see what is decided by the tribunal
