Blimey going back a bit.There weren’t many Patsy special trains….think the last one I was on was one of the specials to Carrow Rd in the cup.

Ours was the one that got to Norwich about 15 mins before k off. Then it did kick off….Happy days

 

I went on the Patsy express to Millwall.

What an experience that was Treatment and F Troop in the corner of a side stand wearing surgical masks.
Score 0-0 if I remember and big Bobby was up front for City.

 

I remember an evening game at Stockport County under Roy McFarland which we won 3:2 from 2 nil down, that'd was train trip, the last one I remember.

 

Exeter away probably on my bucket list for this season a few pints of Scrumpy and a game of skittles in the bar pre match. Feeling good fixtures out, signings promising, new players, hopefully for all of us a good season.

What do we think are the chances of being able to go to away games?

Looking at Orient back end of August and really fancy it but of course, whom knows what the situation around covid19 will be in terms of 'away fans' at football matches.

@wetherbywhaler, has there been any indication at club level, which may possibly give an idea of future prospects for away fans? TIA

Well Silverstone has announced 140000 at the F1 gp. Not sure how many will be "away" supporters though but the way it's going now, god knows. I just expect domestic football (lower level) to be the red-headed stepchild of the sports world.

 

Never forget going to Portsmouth on patsys train ,he had a bantam bird running about all through the train. Then we got a right reception from a few hundred skinheads from Portsmouth at station ,we lost game 4-1 I think .

I’ve just booked down the road in Paignton 3 weeks before, bit gutted I haven’t booked it around the start of season now, however it will be full of kids !

 

I think Terry Dolan got our goal in that game, in front of about 24,500 (for a fourth division game!!). Me and my wife Carol stayed over Fri to Sun .

Sorry Dave, been busy. No indications from Govt. or EFL. Very strange, full house at Silverstone yet Yorkshire move Roses game as only 12-1600 allowed at Scarborough. My strictly personal view is no away fans at Exeter which may be a cost saver as hotel prices have rocketed. National chains now charging 4 times the norm.

 

At the time of season tickets going on sale Ryan said their would be no need for "Claret & Amber" this coming season so looking at what we've sold and could still sell 10,000+ could be accommodated with little problem but as you say would that curtail away support.

 

Doesn’t make sense but what does with this government.
Had our tickets cancelled for the Yorkshire T20 game next Friday as restrictions still in place and well pissed off about it.
Probably because it’s not a big government money earner like Silverstone and the Euro final
