It's not mentioned on the graphic but we made £300,000 from iFollow last season which will be wiped out next season with the new TV deal with only £200,000 from that whilst we are in league 1 although I suspect a large portion of the the income from iFollow was from people who go to 'Spain' for a couple of hours which should still be available with the new deal.

I suspect that the 821k from transfer income will be mainly from the academy as I can't see how we would get that amount of money from the 1st team players sold and I can't think of any ex-players we sold recently which did something that would get us a significant clause fee.

 

How on earth do we spend £1.9m on other wages & salaries (non first team player/ management & associated costs) ? We only employ about 15 people.

And most of those are on minimum wage. I remember the sob story about that increasing when they were justifying the season ticket price increase.

 

The more detailed breakdown on the website states that £625k of the transfer income came from the academy.

£75k year on year, it’s not a lot really.

 

I doubt Lewis' fee counts in the 22/23 financials, but keep an eye out this time next year!

Sounds about right and going rate rate for about 35 employees on salaries between 18 - 50K pa with on-costs.

I think we sold 6 players last season:

Hornby, Watt, Staunton, Kelleher, Angol and Sutton.

 

Apparently we sold a young lad to Hull City, but no idea if that's an academy sale of a first team sale.

Looks like we made £90k out of those 6/7 players?

 

Not far off predictions and just highlights we need bums (or paid for bums) on seats and merchandise sales. To remain sustainable, that £400k loss and predicted losses over the next 12 months will need to be found from somewhere. Let's hope Rupp is good to his word and is going to dip into his own pocket rather than deduct it from the playing and ground maintenance budgets. Perhaps a little like Mr Weaver north of the (county) border, who can only dream of a minimal loss from his current account like 400K per year.

 

I don’t believe ground upkeep is negotiable as far as the rental terms goes?

You're right Jon, it's figures up to June 23 so it won't include Lewis.

 

I wonder how we compare with others in all divisions. ? I have seen 30- 50 mil on some clubs higher up
