Bit ironic that the team that spent the most time using all the little cheating antics and gamesmanship when we played them are now up in arms at what the manager has done.

 

I wonder what their thoughts are on the behaviour of their chairman refusing to adhere (sticking 2 fingers up) to the strict dress code in the boardroom/corporate area of away clubs.

 

Probably nothing, such is the importance of it.

That aside, more fool Rob Edwards. Watford are on a one-way slope with their owners, 8 managers since 2018, he'll be gone after a few bad results, would be surprised if he's there post Christmas.

 

It'll still be a nice payout for him and if he does get binned off he probably knows he'll be able to get a L1 job. I'd say it's a good move for him

 

I agree with the sentiment but I'm imagining it's just not the sort of money or opportunity you can turn down. Certainly not to stay at FGR anyway.

At the very worst he'll get a massive pay out and at best his stock will increase exponentially compared to what he could achieve where he was.
