We have picked up a solitary point when losing a game which just sums up this lot for me .............. seriously your throwing hard earned money at folk who simply ain’t up for a battle :( I have seen crap over the decades but at least they showed us a bit of fight unlike this lot :( I hope they rub these words right in my face and show there up for it but sadly I doubt they are and there is no way I’m putting up with another arrogant manager who in a nutshell is making out we are stupid ......... the Rochdale game being the latest gem of post match tripe ................ I mean who in there right mind would folk out £300 to feel pissed off or cheated every other Saturday ?????
The club has been fortunate that fans have stuck by it but this thread and talking to a lot of other people then they can kiss a few thousand goodbye unless there is a dramatic change

It is a funny one is Barrow. Although the Club and ground are based there, the squad does all its training in Salford. So players living in Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire and parts of Yorkshire can live in their locality and they only go to Barrow for home fixtures. https://www.barrowafc.com/news/2022/june/010622-barrow-afc-announce-new-training-ground-partnership-with-de-la-salle-sports-and-social-club-in-salford/

I'm expecting a certain person coming along and saying that these facilities are far and away better than ours because it's NOT a school.....

I suppose apathy has set in with me a bit in recent years. Some of it might be to do with getting older and realising there are more important things to worry about in life.

Secondly the Rahic era really did it for me. Everything that man did at Bradford City undid all the work and progress we’d made over many years. That 2018/19 season really affected my mental health. I know people might laugh but I never knew what mental health was until 2019. There were other things going on, but seeing City needlessly struggle through the actions of one man was a major tipping point.

Fast forward a few years, and I enjoy seeing City play. I’m disappointed if we lose but I don’t let it ruin my weekend anymore. Sometimes I don’t go to VP if I’ve got other priorities, something I’d never have done in years gone by.

So whilst I love my club, I don’t let them define my life anymore like I did in the past. I mean I even got married on a Monday so I knew it wouldn’t clash with a City game. I’m in a good place with City, I’ll always support them, but in many ways I can take it or leave it these days. I’d have never said that 6 years ago.

Spot on most I’ve agreed with something on this thread by a long way, I used to be shall we say partisan but I think it was Covid with me tbh that made me think there’s more to life. Sure I’ve had a rant on here now and again especially towards the end of Adams, but all in all if we lose I’m over it come 6 and onto my evening. Don’t get me wrong I want to see us play at a higher level and still enjoy a win, but certainly don’t let it get to me the way it used to. Maybe I’ll get that feedback one day I don’t know, but tbh especially after reading some of the down in the dumbs on here recently! I’m glad I’m the way I am now, I can go neither game with friends or family regardless (mainly after 5pm when we’ve played crap!) I could never have enjoyed a weekend after a loss before.

Congratulations on your marriage, I hope you have a happy life together.

you pretty much summed up my feelings on City, as have many others. Of course I will always support them, but I might not turn up if we are going to be in this league. I don’t have MH problems about City but I have been frustrated with the management and team.
They might get another ST out of me but it depends if the club would like to be honest with us. I have always thought we were going into a 2 year plan, would love it if I was proved wrong. I have been supporting them since 1967. We are still in the league I started watching them.

I'm apathetic as I've come to realise this is life in the Rupp era. Lack of interest filters down.

I've started expecting the worst so that I can only be pleasantly surprised. If you get your hopes up with this team, they will only ever let you down (nowadays).

I'm not on the Hughes out brigade or anything like that. We chop and change and always find ourselves in the same position come December/Jan with wanting the manager out etc. We're 7th right now. It's not the worst thing in the world. Look where Bristol Rovers and Bolton were during their promotion seasons at this point.

I think I'd rather take a different approach and give a manager more time, and I doubt we'll find a better manager to be more patient with.

Our fanbase also have a habit of overrating our squad. We're not that good.
