Sparks has said before we will find life much easier in League 1.
The rent on the ground becomes a much smaller issue and significantly more away fans.

 

Genuine question What happened last time then ?

I personally think he talks a lot of crap

But ryans boss owned the club ? The one who
gives us all the money to spend . Maybe sparks should stop saying silly stuff and just let the players do the talking . Am Sick of false promises and then turning up and watching lacklustre performances like last season .

 

He doesn’t give him money to spend we earn it and doing a good job of it. If I read it like he wasn’t making any promises he said that if we go up income and therefore expenditure will rise extensively

 

When the latest Sky TV deal was announced Sparks said that it would hit us in league 2 as a result of reduction in ifollow money but we would be better off if we are in league 1. Couple that with probably higher average attendance and higher income from off field deals etc. I can understand it....

I wouldn't take MH's comment literally about 1 or 2 more players to come in. To me that's just a phrase you would say when still not quite sure

 

It could also mean 1 or 2 more above deals that are already done, such as Gordon, if true.

 

He probably has his eyes on a handful more, worth remembering we haven't even used a loan yet. But I imagine they'll end up bringing in probably 5 or 6 new faces by the end to replace 3 or 4 that leave.

 

He did say 'no more than that'....but i agree with others. On top of ones agreed but maybe not announced yet. There are apparently 2 so that could be 4.

 

Looks like Platt is staying which gives me a bit more reassurance defensively I think he had a good season and was very unlucky to lose his place

 

I'd be very happy if that turns out to be true Park. If insiderbantam is right about Gordon, I wonder if he's got the player he's replacing wrong and it's actually Odusina that's on his way?

Probably nobody from the first team, I'd be 99% sure he expects your FCD, Young & Hendrie types at least to leave.
