Do you think he should have? After seeing that it’s not in the top corner.Seems to hit the goal half way up.Bit harsh maybe?

 

maybe a bit harsh on him but wasn’t in top corner and you usually see them tipped around the post at that height? O’Donnell dives and it’s already in the net. Same with second goal for then he dives but it’s already in. Does he concentrate? Does he have good enough positioning? I am not sure but we let in a lot of long range shots.

Another of the”identified targets” who we missed out on. I bet the cheeky so and so wanted paying the going rate or some other outlandish contract requirement. The number of these players who we nearly got just keeps going up.

 

Just a great strike - cut ROD a bit of slack guys! He stopped it being a massacre yesterday and has a defence that opens like a sinkhole in front of him, and a midfield that is shocking at tracking runners. He is a league 2 keeper but FAR from our biggest worry right now!

 

I agree to a certain extent.He is far from our biggest worry but the long range goals are definitely mounting up.He’s 6 ft 2 yet when he dives for the long range stuff with his arms stretched he manages to make himself appear 6ft.Agree about him stopping it being a massacre. He also did that at Salford.The whole defensive unit are woeful and are also not getting any help from the other players who obviously haven’t grasped the concept of “defending from the front.”Can’t see McCall dropping him anytime soon so will have to live with him.

 

Good at stopping point blank shots, terrible on anything long range.
He IS a worry, right now.

 

This club is in utter freefall with a myriad of problems but the keeper isn't one of them. Stick the defence in front of him that Doyle had and there is hardly any difference.

 

The WHOLE club is a worry mate, just dont think he is at the top of the list

His fitness was always an issue, rarely started at Fleetwood yet it looks like Oldham are getting the best from him.

 

And yet we sign Zeli.

 

Agree with his fitness issues but he has quality
like Ishmael, but that's where comparison ends.

 

And give him a one year contract extension.

 

Maybe Bowyer thought could get him fit and playing, I believe there is a player there but unfortunatly it looks like the lad is a crock.

 

Yes came through the ranks at Everton and was pne of Oxford Uniteds better players whilst on loan I believe Fleetwood out bid a few transfer windows ago, where have we heard that before.

Boring at the minute all this criticism of ROD while we pretend players like Wood are doing okay.
