    Here is the email Matt posted on facebook that he sent Stefan.

    So Stefan, I'd like to introduce myself.

    My name is Matt and i've been a Bradford City supporter since 1974.
    I blame my father who used to run the directors bar in the old main stand at the time.

    That is the old main stand that burnt down and where 56 people lost their lives.
    One of the people who died came into my parents public house and her loss, along with the loss of all the others, greatly affected many people.

    I tell you all this as background to explain why Bradford City fans are so closely connected with the club and emotions run very deep within these supporters.
    Further, these supporters are typical patient, too patient many would say, and recognise that our club is never likely to be consistently at a high level.
    However, I have never seen a situation at our club where so many fans are now in uproar about the shambolic "leadership" that is currently in place.

    The club has been destroyed from within by one person, Edin Rahic, on a seemingly self centered mission to rid anyone who was anybody at Bradford City.
    Literally anybody who didn't agree with Edin, players, managers, upper management, backroom staff, stadium staff have been removed.
    But it doesn't stop there, it is apparent that discussions to recruit players have been seriously affected by the ego and financial frugality of this same person.
    In addition, long standing sponsors have become unsettled leading to comments that suggest their support for the club will soon be removed.

    This is just the tip of the iceberg but some of the most important elements around why this club is now in free-fall.
    I do not believe that you entered into this investment with the objective of stripping it back to its bare bones and lining your pockets, but it appears that your co-chairman and CEO is making a good effort at doing this.
    From what i understand the previous owners Lawn and Rhodes never took a salary from Bradford City, but Mr Rahic is reported to be taking over £10k per month from the club. Is it any wonder that the accountants have also been replaced many times and seemingly the latest is Mr Rahic's wife who is now also taking a tidy monthly sum from the club. The words asset stripping come to mind.

    Julian and Mark must be regretting doing the deal as they have claret and amber running through their veins and only sold the club to you on the basis you had the investment to take it to the Championship and build on what had been created by them and Phil Parkinson.

    Your recent press release made no reference to how the club was being manager by Edin suggesting you do not see the problem, however this is the most fundamental issue we have.
    Maybe you do not see the value of your investment falling or maybe see this investment as already lost.
    However losing an investment is not the same as losing a football club to its supporters.
    With its tragic history this would be even more painful for the supporters of Bradford City.

    If you understand this emotional attachment and the reasons for it then you should take action now before it is too late and place the management and/or ownership of the club into the hands of those who have the best interests of Bradford City Football Club at heart.
    It is now really a Matter of Heart.

    What does he think would happen it's like a jim'l fix it letter, there's no empathy from people not connected to the club

    That's the main issue they are alien to us
    For all the stick previous owners got at least they were our own

    You may be correct Stefan does not have to answer or do anything with regards change at the club but at least the guy has shown his concern.

    Dave do you have Stefan's email address from this email? Or maybe from Park....If you don't want to publish then PM me, I'd like to send him an email too. Personally I think the more we get to Stefan as well about how we feel...can't see it getting any worse...

    Well now it is yet another problem, lack of communication from the owners. We were promised transparency, what we get is sporadic statements that do not address the fundamental problems. This then leaves gaps that rumours automatically fill in and then become facts.

    That's one of the problems. Social media, including on sites such as our own, is full of rumours and half-truths which morph into folklore and 'facts'. Rarely are these so-called facts ever tested or checked out for their validity and they become repeated and regurgitated and take on their own identity. And yet trace them all back to a valid source and they are little more than unfounded rumours. And some of them have now become the substance of an email to Rupp asking for something undefined to be done.

    What Rupp will do when he receives this email is anybody's guess. But I suspect that if he sees things in there which he knows to be untrue, such as the accusation of R&R being 'asset strippers', he'll do what any sensible person would do and assume it is all in the same vein. It's short on evidence-based facts and long on accusation and supposition.

    Emails to Rupp need to be factual.
    For sure we know -
    5th in the league to 24th
    Crowds down from 19k to 11k
    4 Managers in a year
    Etc.

    Asset stripping
    Salaries
    Penny pinching
    That's just guesswork.

    Well you would hope common sense might kick in!! Monthly updates on both finances (I don’t mean details just an overall summary) and football matters. We have no idea for instance whether they actually think they have buggered up the recruitment? What they intend to do about it, apart from the manager will be supported, but he can’t have failed to notice, he put out a similar statement last January, and then Stuart was sacked. Plus what we are going to do in January if we are rooted to the bottom. It is all so airy fairy, no substance.

    I understand your irritation with social media, but you can’t ignore it you have to be ahead and thinking about your online strategy. Obviously he can’t answer ever email, and will have to answer in a catchall manner. Sitting back and feeling sorry for their selves, will not sort this out.

    Tbf finances is tough for them.

    No club is going to say 'we can't pay the wages at the end of the month' or 'we're rolling in it, we're going to spend £500k in January', for obvious reasons.

    Really don't get why Rupp is a figure of fascination.

    He's a guy who put his money in to support the bid of a friend who probably guaranteed results.

    He's not interested in football, is unlikely to care about City, so he has a financial commitment - and nothing else.

    He's hardly the holy grail.

    My view ?

    The piece obviously lacks 'polish', which is understood as it is plain to see the passion within it.
    There are times like this when an email is draught, and you leave it over night, before reviewing and editing as you eventually hit the 'send' button, next morning.

    However, well done to Matt for actually doing something, other than sit on his hands.

    The issues and keypoints are in evidence, and one can only hope Stefan can interpret these correctly, rather than see some disgruntled fan having a dig at our Club.
