    Ellis Short has sold Sunderland a deal had been struck to sell to a group led by Stewart Donald, the chairman of National League side Eastleigh.

    Chris Coleman also being relieved of his duties as the manager of Sunderland FC

    They have been trailing this for ages on Tyne tees tv. They will be a massive force in league one next year and should generate some good gates wherever they go

    I think it’s hard on Coleman and for that matter Grayson who had to work in impossible conditions only to lose his job when there is money

    Agree it has been a poison chalice for a while now, but the rewards can be great if your successful, similar to Leeds.

    Yes they should walk league 1 next season. However, unlike Wigan and Blackburn, I think they will find it harder than they think. They are a massive draw for this league, and everywhere they go, it will feel like a big cup tie for the opposition, this will result in most teams and fans raising their game, and making it difficult for them on their travels

    You know Eastleigh started signing some decent players in the nine league over the last 2 years

    They had Mark Yeates who was half decent for that level
