Yes - Angol and Eisa could be back in October. Cook hasn't had a standout game without Angol in the lineup. Hopefully these two will return and give us an edge in October, either off the bench or in the starting lineup

That's a bit harsh, what about Mansfield, Walsall, I do like Angol partnering Cook but both those he had a good game even though he should have had a hat-trick against Walsall.

Six league fixtures in October, Angol and Eisa back earlier in the month would help

lets hope their recovery goes well. the sooner these two are back the better, although they may struggle to get in the team if theo plays well. we could have some real strength in depth if everyone is fit. although no quality according to some on here.

It is excellent news all round. Knowing Angol and Eisa are going to be back in weeks rather than months will hopefully give the likes of Robinson and Lavery that extra push to prove they deserve to keep their places when called upon.

    Beware of the words!

I’m “targeting” to win the lottery

“Returning to action” . Training, weights, swimming or the ultimate action, playing?

All positive of course but that’s as a fluid a statement one may wish to see?

Angol is a worry. I didn't realise the level of serious and ongoing hamstring problems he's had. If be surprised if we get more than 15 starts out of him this season.

Yes, my thoughts too. Once a player is beset with hamstring problems, it really is an issue.

Such a pity, because the lad obviously has ability but it's probably the reason his career has never kicked on. One only has to look at Zeli Ismail to see the consequences.

Fingers crossed because we've really missed him.

As long as it's not the mythical "two weeks away" ala Jake Reeves.

I remember reading something about the serious and ongoing Hamstring problems that Michael Owen had. This may not be exact, but as I recall the gist of it was - if you have a serious hamstring injury where the muscle detaches from the bone, unless its operated on properly you risk the muscle fusing with the bone and that results, basically, in permanent damage which leaves you constantly prone for further tears. Not sure whether its the case for Angol, but it doesn't look good.
