    No idea why we are looking at more striker Trialist.

    Wonder if these trialists are having any / much involvement than these friendlies?

    If not much it strikes me that even a quality player who might do us a job won't necessary perform their best playing alongside a team or strangers!

    The mass trialist approach could be a means of us building bridges with the non leagues, developing relationships so we can get at the real talent, rather than an attempt to actually sign the players we have on trial.

    I think that is a very fair point Faithful, seen some comments on here saying it is a total waste of time but you cant say that unless you know the managers intentions re these games - I think we just need to let him get on with it as in my eyes he has done a bloody good job so far

    ps Saturday is the first true test for me as to how the team are blending in

    Pretty crap so far, no trialists really standing out. Whoever the left back is, he's total shite, never seen someone look so uncomfortable on a pitch before. Number 16 in midfield looks ok on the ball but is allergic to tackling it seems. Mooney upfront has made a couple of decent runs but nobody seems to have a brain to pass it to him.
