    Ryan East has completed a permanent transfer to National League side Rochdale, subject to EFL clearance.

    The midfielder initially moved on loan to the Crown Oil Arena in August, and has made 22 appearances for Dale this season.


    He joined the Bantams last summer ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, turning out on 26 occasions in claret and amber.

    Bradford City AFC would like to thank Ryan for his services to the club, and wishes him the very best for the future.

    Well I for one am very sorry to lose him. However, we have to let some players go, but he always put a shift in and behaved in a professional manner. I am very pleased that he has found a club that values him.

    I mentioned this on another thread but it's a win win for everyone, he gets the chance to continue playing regularly and whilst getting a bit more security with an 18 month contract. Not sure where he lived but there's a chance he doesn't have to move house. We get a player off the books and if we were paying any of his wages whilst at Rochdale that fees some wages up for January.
