Doyle Goal Predictions for City

Working on roughly 1 in 3 as I don’t see Vaughan giving up pens. Just hope he stays fit for the remainder of the season...

 

If he played every game, which is doubtful anyway, then 10 would be an excellent return.

 

Zero, as I suspect if he plays he will be very isolated up front which isn't his game

 

£50 burns unit bet he scores a goal for City before the end of the season?

 

If he stays, then I predict 9 goals, including the winner at home to Walsall to clinch promotion, and condemn Swindon to the play offs

 

Would not be surprised to see him go to Swindon before the end of the transfer window. City have the contract of the player who has been scoring regularly, high earner. Swindon will have to find a new /revised offer to meet his wages and compensate us accordingly for his services or he stays as we can now afford him.

 

About 5. Similar strike rate to last year.

8 would be great.

 

Wouldn't worry me in the slightest as long as they stump up 150-200k. We have the cards for once. As long as the board keep their cool it's a win win situation in my eyes. We've bolstered our options up top and brought goals to the team and if they offer us some money happy days.

 

8. His scoring rate at Swindon in the first half of the season has been silly but it could still drop and he's still be an improvement on what we've played upfront in his absence.

 

That is my feeling too, as I have posted. Think we are just forcing Swindon's hand, we will see, so I have predicted 0 goals

 

He'd need to score more than 8 to be an improvement on Vaughan.

 

I don't think he'll play every game though, and Vaughan's total will be propped up by pens. If Vaughan gets eight from open play in the second half he'll have improved his contribution so far.

I think Bowyer has a very good squad at his disposal now and he'll rotate them all to keep them fresh.

Looks excellent strength there in terms of what you can get on a L2 budget formed from fans paying 50 % less than they could expect to from STs.

Seems like Connolly is in the first team now so surely Doyle is going to get more service than that silly Vaughan/Donaldson/Doyle set up???
