Double posting hang

    I seem to be having a problem at the minute when I type my reply to a post, and then I hit the post reply button the page just hangs with the black box appearing at the top right with the loading sign.

    I think it’s not posted it so I click it again and then I get the message saying I cannot post again for x amount of seconds.
    Then if I refresh the whole webpage my post has actually posted but in my reply box for that thread I now have all the message in like a lighter coloured font as though I’ve saved a draft of it to carry on later.

    If I wait for the seconds to count down and then click post reply again it double posts it and seems to work straight away with no hang.

    anyone else had it? Or getting it? I am on mobile by the way

    hopefully I’ve explained that well enough

    I've seen some double posts from users but never experienced it myself. If I had to guess its an issue with the browser's handling of the javascript that shows the post without reload but its hard to pinpoint it when I can't recreate it to test and step through it to see what could be causing it.

    What browser and device are you seeing it do it on

    Chrome iOS. It is as if it can not connect to the server and takes an age to upload the message happened on wifi and 4G

    I am using safari on iPhone. Almost as though it just lags and then cant post but it actually has

    Any improvement with either of those issues? I've rewritten some javascript and javascript calls so they execute sooner (they executed after the elements had all loaded but now they load as one of the first things)

    Weird because the one device and browser I could get it to do it on isn’t now doing it after the change.

    So you are definitely not using any kind of adblocker be it a browser plugin or custom dns server and you are seeing both an ad and the Adblock detected message?
