Still making one in at Newport, brought on as a 60 minute sub and yes offering little to the team.

I saw him a couple of times on TV when he played for Leeds and he looked to have it all quick, strong physically and a goal threat.
Even when he signed for City he looked the part in odd games but in the main looked as if he was doing us a favour playing,
I suppose at 26 he's still chance to develop ;).

I got the impression he found his niche early, and never really developed as a player.

From the glimpses I saw of him at Leeds and the EFL highlights, he had those attributes you mention, but only ever threatened when he shot when least expected. That's probably because he could hit a ball hard and straight.

When he was put through one on one, he tended to hit the keeper 9 times out of 10.

There didn't seem to be any finesse about Poleon, and I imagine it's because at youth and reserve level, simply hitting the target was enough.

Even in League Two that's not going to cut it.

They are reported to have an entire team out injured so quite possibly will play.

Easy afternoon for the two O'Connors, I think BRE might fit this one out.
