I don’t think the season is written off just yet. Clubs have come back from worse. It all depends on how we play our cards in January.

Do We :
•Actually address the issues this squad face by getting rid of dross like : Robinson, Lavery, Gillead, Threlkeld, O’Donnell, Paudie an replace them with quality players for this division.

Or do we
• Do what we usually do an balls it up by attempting to play mind games with other clubs in an attempt to save a few pennies an ultimately being left with gaping holes in significant parts of the squad.

Last years antics in the January transfer window lead me to believe that it is possible for there to be a significant change in personnel on the pitch. Its just a case of whether Sparks is smart enough to give Adams the tools he needs to complete the job

 

It's been pantomime season from the start.

The only previous time I've stopped watching was in the John Docherty tenure and I shan't be bothered venturing to Valley Parade again for the foreseeable.

The CEO and the manager both have one thing in common - an inflated opinion of their own ability. If they're both in situ next season, I shan't be contributing to their salaries by buying a season ticket.

I just ain't wasting anymore of my time, or money, on them. I've had a gutful.

 

Absolutely. Rupp is so much of the problem

 

Much is arguably an understatement, anyone else failing at the club is only at the club due to him. If we were where he had found us non of them would be here.

 

I really hope that someone at the club is proactively seeking new ownership and Rupp gets real about what the club is worth after his years of decline

 

How easy will it be to get rid of those players you listed? I’d suspect not easy. We will only 2/3 January. Max. Don’t pin your hopes on it

 

I don't think this season is a complete write off just yet, but in terms of confidence.
In the manager, I think Adams needs time to shift the dead weight out of the club and to kick on from there, don't think we're seeing his best but most of the players aren't great, and in terms of the team, I haven't had any real faith in a City team since Parkinson.
Under Parky, I fully believed in us, even if we went behind 1-0 early on in a game, we would still drive forward and quite probably come away with a win.
Nowadays if we go behind, I usually resign myself to a loss or maybe a scrappy draw if we're lucky.

Honestly in terms of actual forward thinking, what we have done is good and makes sense.

the reason why we haven't done well is because we keep sacking the manager. Derek has done it before and i trust him and his network (which is better than what we have had before)

once recruitment improves we will see improvement on the pitch.
