Seemingly a big story for Bradford and the surrounding areas you'd think and admittedly I may have missed it as the site is hard to navigate but looking for the story all I find is stories on fly typing, corona virus, planning permission and the weather?

Surely a court case as big as this would have generated at least a small article.

I did wonder if it would get any coverage in T&A as at least a couple of the men are from Bradford

Yep, it is still there if you search for it. But no links, so unless you know about it you wouldn’t see it but they will claim they have covered it

What you need to remember is that news publishing is a business, one that has always been highly competitive but with the rise of the internet where reach, no restrictions on column inches and needing a constant flow of articles going up has made it even worse as there are now stories that previously wouldn't have made the nationals that now do.

Now if a big national paper picks up a story they are going to suffocate the local paper when it comes to social media and SEO so the benefit for them keeping stories artificially on the front page when it's in the national press when they rely on clicks to generate the income that funds them is tiny.

So it's unlikely they are actively suppressing it, there are just newer stories that are too regionally focused even for the broader scope the nationals now take
