'Project Big Picture' would probably give Rupp even less reason to sell. The salary cap keeps player costs low, and there's a chance of more money flowing down the leagues from the PL. Through sheer chance, we could actually end up being a profitable business for him.

    My opinion. My entitlement.

Im not advocating for SR just to leave us, without new owners in place. Nothing against Rupp the man.

    Rupp out.

There is another view. If the Liverpool/Man U proposals as they impact on EFL clubs are agreed, all EFL clubs become a little more attractive as sustainable businesses. If there are other buyers waiting in the wings to buy us as some suggest, their view on the valuation of City might well increase and posibly to a level which makes it attractive for Rupp to sell. I don't believe Rupp has any long term interest in us and for him to sell without making a large loss could well result in new owners. Unfortunately that's not going to happen untill the PL proposals are agreed and the detailed impact on EFL clubs finalised.

I'm clinging to this other view and my fingers remain crossed.

As good as parky was and you can’t knock him he relied heavily on the market being open all the time mainly for us. Our squad was always good quality but very small. If we got an injury we got short term players in to fill the gap.
Not knocking it but wonder if he would have as much success here under this newish transfer window model

The PL redistribution for the current premier league clubs means that the rest of the prem only get another million quid a season more based on this seasons media income. But with that they lose all voting rights forever. If it’s passed and they accept it that are clueless

What do you mean by very good? The club going backwards has happened firstly under him being the major shareholder and then as full owner. Rupp apparently filling these financial holes is beneficial first and foremost to him, if he doesn't he loses out big time. He can't just walk away, there's no assets left to offset his losses. Let's not forget the McBurnie money more than offset the financial black holes.

Regression. Poor team. No communication. Mcburnie.

The club will go nowhere under him.

    Rupp out.

That's a bit extreme to be fair, especially considering a fair amount of them have played 2 more games and only a small return from those 2 games would increase the league position dramatically.

I was primarily referring to Ryan Sparks’ quotes and praise of Rupp in preseason about putting extra money into the club after the early curtailment of last season.

Peterborough are an ideal template for what we could/should be doing.

Holes Rahic created... but granted Rupp should have paid more attention.

Rhodes and Sparks appear to be running what you call the operational side at the moment.

Which way do you think they'll most likely escape? Up or down?
