Demolished football grounds

    Found this on Youtube.

    Brings back loads of memories as have been to lots of these grounds.

    Never went to Chester , Yeovil, Brighton, Southampton,Wimbledon or Millwall though.

    My fav was Burnden Park when we won 2-0 to take the 3rd div championship title.

    Good find.

    I did Man City, Leicester City, Sunderland, Reading, Huddersfield and the old Wembley.

    I've taught in the school that now sits on what was Maine Road.

    I did, when we went to that FA Cup game at Man City when Steiner scored.
    I paid it. Wasn't worth the risk not to.

    i once got asked for a fiver to look after my car,i said its ok my dogs in the back,they said ,can your dog put out fires,

    Great Find
    Been to all but 2 of those grounds
    Great memories of when grounds were proper grounds with character
    not the massed produced construction kits of today
    Shame they missed Park Avenue and the original Feethams tho
    Also the old Highbury great FA Cup match early 70s when the home fans wore operating clothing

    Inflation kicked in in Liverpool it's now a fiver
    We chased them off and paid the consequences
    Not a light remained after the match
    Cheap at twice the price if you ask me
