Just had a look at the December fixtures.. I don't think I'm being too dramatic to say our season likely rests on those games.. Highlighted are the 3 games we need to get at least 2 wins from I'd say just to give ourselves a fighting chance.

Agree to an extent, though I would classify the Walsall home game in the same category as those highlighted.

Just as winnable as the rest.

tbh with the exception of the Sunderland game theyre all winnable. we have a chance if we can take 9/10 points out of the 15 available with the transfer window opening after.

Even Sunderland at home are not pulling up any trees where the onus is on them to do the attacking. Could be perfect for us and how defensively set up we appear to be now.

We must win our home games as a minimum. Especially given who they are against.

But no targets. One game at a time for me

previous seasons I'd agree, however this season the way we've lost games I think we start 2nd favourites in all of them

Still agree we start them all as 2nd favourites on merit (or lack of), but the last 2 or 3 games have given a bit belief there’s some fire in the belly again.
Before that I couldn’t see us grinding out a point on a pencil!

Only having seen the videos, my objective view is you've evolved a shape that suits the players you have, it's a major improvement IMO. That's not to say the players are good enough, but it's a start.

I posted at the time (Late October) that November would be crucial, and where was another point to come from in that month ? Happily ( :*@ ), we are 4 points to the good, with tonight yet to come. Although only four games, three were / are against top six sides ............. You don't get much harder than that in a months fixture list, when you're sat in the bottom four !! December almost feels like a walk in the park, now ........... ;)

11 shit players playing as one shit team is better than 11 shit players playing as 11 shit individuals. So we are looking less shit as a result. BTW I don't believe every player is shit at City but will be interesting to see what Hopkin really thinks via team selections once he has everyone back from injury and a full transfer window under his belt.

I'd take 4-6 points, I'd be amazed (& happy) at any more.

3 wins and a draw minimum. Realistically though we need 4 wins

We almost have to write off the Sunderland game, a bit like we have to write off the result tonight - I know that's not going to be a universally popular sentiment, because all games are winnable at this level, but it's those other four that are absolutely huge.

Mind you, the Peterborough game is hardly insignificant, particularly from a financial stand point...

our next three league matches are pivotal to our chances of escalating relegation in the new year.six or seven points from these 3 games and we will be still in touch in January.
All three games are points chances if we play the way we did against Portsmouth and Oxford.

I dont mind writing off games but its the way we are gettingebeaten that worries me. Luton are not that good but steady. They thrashed us. The second half they were not trying really. The defence is really poor.
