Deadline Extension

They should have set the date as the end of April/ begining of May in the first place but no, they shouldn't extend.

 

No, but they should reduce the increase after the initial deadline to something more affordable. £199 maybe. A 25% increase still gives the original deadline some meaning and it's still cheap enough to lure a few in if they later change their mind.

 

Is it that hard to get a ticket between now and Sunday teatime everyone has know about it

 

People get paid monthly and have ends to meet. Can understand why folk can't renew just yet.

 

We've been through this before. Save up for it or put it on a % credit card. It really isn't that hard. Its £150 FFS.

 

it has been on sale for like 2/3 months though now. it's not like we gave people a 2 week window.

 

It's been a long hard demoralising slog this season.
A fair % of fans are weary, tired and perhaps not in the right place to find £150, this is the one season whereby the window needs to be extended.
Once the acceptance of league two crap has sunk in, there's a bit of sunshine on their shoulders, and they've finish xmas pay back. They'll be in a better place to renew

I fully understand some can’t afford it, but a season tickets a want not a need. If they can’t afford it after the time given, then I’m afraid they shouldn’t be spending their small amount of cash on a luxury. Other priorities have to come first sometimes.

 

Agreed. Fully understand people struggle with affordability sometimes, a little to some is a lot to some others.
But, season ticket sales didn’t creep up and surprise anyone, it’s the same time every year. If there wasn’t the option to pay monthly then I’d be tempted to agree with an extension, but with it in place, there is that option to spread costs.
If it’s still too much of a stretch, then perhaps buying a season ticket simply isn’t the right thing for them to do.
Personally, I don’t think many people would buy after an extended deadline given they've had two options at excellent prices to do so up to now.

12k sold according to website ,better than I thought, still 2 days to go , no need to extend

 

Think they’re implying it will be 12k by Sunday rather than right now, but still great going all considered!

The club needs to continue to work and improve its professionalism post-Rahic so the deadline needs to be seen as the deadline. No extension.

 

As a compromise they could extend the cheap prices for another month but insist that seats are still released on Sunday 17th April if not renewed

 

Think I would like to see it extended until May Day. Some floating fans with another pay day to come, might be tempted, however, as Loyalbantam states above, still release seats after this Sunday
