    Just out of my memory zone but was always mentioned in club circles in the 60’s even though he had long gone . RIP

    I must have missed this Kev. Those were the early days for me. The Jackson twins Peter and David with Peter senior as Manager in 3rd Division North. They were part timers with Peter an accountant I think and David a qualified Architect with John Brunton and Partners in Toller Lane.
    My old man and I regularly went to VP on the same trolley bus as the Jackson’s who lived at Frizinghall and centre half Jim Lawlor who lodged near the Branch at Shipley.
    Got to know David a bit professionally when I worked after college, nice guy, understated.
