I got 4/1 on Littler to win the PL a couple of weeks ago. Rather bizarrely, both Micheal Smith and Gerwyn Price were shorter than that.

A long way to go but I think qualifies for the play offs at a canter and you definitely aren't getting 4/1 on him once he does.

I also bet on a special with him to win the PL and the world's this year at 20/1.

Should have lost to the local bloke in Bahrain and was well beat by the Dutch kid last weekend.

Yeah. Very much a man on his way down and now he's lost the world title cash I see him tumbling down the order of merit quite quickly and think this is probably his final PL selection.

 

He’s looked completely lost in the last few tournaments.
Maybe needs to change his darts mid match a bit more.

 

He's thrown them all away apart from a single set apparently. Also threw his old trophies in the bin in an attempt of a 'new start'.

 

Noppert is ahead of him in the money list.
Seems he got in on reputation only.

 

He got in because they select on the order of merit from last year I believe.

The worlds is by far the biggest prize and has helped maintain Wrights top 4 place over the last 24 months but now he'll need to really knuckle down and improve to keep his place in the top 16 as prize money, I imagine, is going to be a lot harder to come by with the emergence of some of the young stars.

The top 4 automatic qualifiers for the Premier League are as of the end of the Worlds so Wright was outside that. He was one of the 4 picks, he'll have been picked due to his name and winning the European Championships last year. He's currently got £140,000 on Ross Smith in 17th. He'll likely be ok in the top 16 for now, the issue will come from July onwards when he's defending most of his £240k from 2022. Unless he has a really good year this probably is his last year in the Premier League.
Noppert will struggle to be picked unless he has a really good year as he's not a big gname and not a crowd favourite, his game is good but a bit boring. It's similar to why Humphries has never been picked.
