Saw a bit of chat in a City thread that is more than deserving of its own thread and was giving me a bit of a giggle. Lots of Walkers/Seabrooks debate. I will settle that one with Seabrooks before Walkers - but the real daddy of all crisps is Burtons Salt & Vinegar Fish 'N' Chips crisps.

On that note Mods please lock this thread.

There is no doubt that Seabrooks are the best, but not as good as they once were.
The fact they are a Bradford company makes it more important to eat as many as you can.

    No no no no no...

Mackie's, especially the Haggis & Cracked Black Pepper variety. Close on their heels, Tyrrell's, and close on their heels, Keogh's.

    They know crisps.

Big fan of Paprika crisps when I'm on holiday in Europe. Perfect accompaniment to cold beer and hot sun.

Have you ever been in a proper pub, if you’ve never had any of these?

The cheese moments are the best ones, rare as hens teeth these days though.

An ex was from the Midlands and they make the scratchings proper there. Still have little pig hairs coming out of them.

Seabrooks Cheese and Onion crinkle cut.
On a downside though... I drive past the Seabrook factory early every morning and the emissions from there bloody stink.

As a Cheese and Onion fan,at the moment i much prefer McCoys as the flavour is much stronger than either seabrooks or walkers.
Talking of seabrooks, if you buy the beefy flavour it says on the packet that it is suitable for vegetarians, so there you go.

Henderson's crisps do some good flavours and they are a (south) Yorkshire brand.
Brannigan's had a decent ham and pickle flavour but they got brought out by a dasterdly German firm for approx half a billion and now you dont find many stockists except for amazon.
Another south Yorks firm originally as well.

    Anyways, back to your snacks.

I know its heresy to say this coming from Bradford, but I think Seabrooks crisps are awful. Mind you, not a big fan of crisps overall. Give me salt n vinegar peanuts anyday

I’m partial to a grab bag of wheat crunchies, or if i’m feeling particularly extravagant, a pack of Nik Naks.

Seabrook cream cheese and chive are the dog’s full swingers though.
