I believe his contract is up at the end of this season, given your comment with regards old injuries would you give him another contract, I wouldn't.

Ok so after pretty much skimming over comments above I'd say it's pretty clear we're all a bit pi$$ed at having a weekend off City, just to add I've got tickets for this and the rearrangement being midweek will make it a nightmare for me, and despite the fact I fully agree with the many saying we should all boycott get a refund and watch on Ifollow instead, but I've no doubt my young son will apply the pressure for us to go which I will easily cave in to and pull the required strings at work. When my young lad comes calling to go watch City who was born in Blackburn (My wifes a Blackburner) with basically no affiliation to City apart from through me, and we now live in Cliviger/Burnley (10mins from Turfmoor where all his college friends go so he could easily fall in line) the added non sensenceical enthusiasm he piles on top of my ingrained blind faith is way too much to resist.
Despite this let's try pull a positive out of this, fingers crossed we get a few results go our way and we end the weekend not much worse off, and we have a game in hand. If by some miracle the following week this could be paired up with us beating Grimsby and another couple of other results going in our favour then the position we'd be in could be great. Obviously a lot of ifs and buts involved but if the right side of the coin flip lands favourably then it may end up as an advantage, and that's not even factoring in current injuries that should then be available for the rescheduled fixture.

If nothing else we may have the likes of Derbyshire, Osadebe, Nevers, Walker available by the time it's rearranged that got to be a plus.

Great news that the Crewe match is in the final week of the season.

Reminds me of 1997 when we had Charlton at home on the Thursday before QPR at home on the Sunday and won both to stay up!!!

Northampton Tickets maybe sold out, but our actual last away game, the rearranged Crewe game are still on sale.
Less than 80 miles from Bradford (even Keighley is only a bit further;)) and around an hour and a half drive.
This could be more significant than the Northampton game! Perhaps buy now while you still can.

I bought my daughter a ticket, I'm willing to waive the it's a school night for this game on the basis that these games are so rare as a City fan and I can probably count on 1 hand the number of times we have been fighting for the autos in the last 30 years.

Barrow, Salford, Rochdale, Stockport, Hartlepool, Doncaster, Harrogate, Mansfield, Northampton, Crewe and Grimsby I would say.

If we end up in the play offs we are defo selling out any of Stockport, Stevenage, Northampton, Mansfield, Salford or Carlisle.

Crewe will have 18 year old Tom Booth in goal making only his 3rd appearance. The original goalkeeper whose international call up contributed to the original fixture being positioned (Connor O’Riordan) has returned to parent club Brighton after getting injured.

Crewe goalkeeper coach Fred Barber had a stint coaching at Bradford City.

Crewe manager Lee Bell had a spat with Ricky Ravenhill in the 2012/13 promotion season - he got Ravenhill sent off at Burton, but the Bell elbowed Zavon Hines in the return fixture at VP and received a red card, something Ravenhill was clearly delighted about!

Gilliead out there and play Clayton in the deep role/ Or Osadebe on the left.

It can't be any worse. It was like playing with ten men on Saturday.

It would be very harsh to drop Banks. He's been a real threat in the last month or so, especially now he can go on his right foot.

He was the spark we needed in a game to help us score crucial goals. How many draws have we had when Wright could have been the difference. He was playing well enough to expect him to continue his excellent form and goal scoring record.

IMO our attack looked much better when he was up alongside Cook than it does now.

There's a serious mentality issue with this side. The number of injury time goals conceded, awful performances in crunch games etc. Even tonight - the second half 'comeback' wasn't down to any sort of controlled display, we just went blood and guts for a bit. As soon as the players had to start thinking again, we went to sh*t.

    Piss poor, 10 mins aside.

This I mostly agree with. The signing on paper is a great one, the reality is it hasn’t achieved what we all hope. All I’m saying is that labelled as ‘disgrace’ and ‘get out of the club’ is a little far fetched.

Ultimately I’m genuinely surprised by tonight. I agree with the guys on the radio that, with the benefit of hindsight, we should have introduced Clayton and Darbyshire way sooner and used that experience to have looked to have seen out the draw.

We’re still in the place with a playoff spot in our hands. After Saturday I really feel everyone got way too excited about discussion of autos when we should have been focussing on getting the first job done - win tonight and secure playoffs at least. For whatever reason we were all over the place tonight and almost looked shocked by how Crewe came and showed us up.

The impact that stoppage had on the momentum of the game was more of an issue.

Crewe were rocking, their keeper was wobbly and we were all over them - then the game stops for five minutes, they get a break, their manager calms them down, and we never get back on top of them.

It wasn't gonna happen next weekend in terms of autos so this was a stupid decision to go for it having got back in the game and a foot in the door for the playoffs and playing lets face it a decent pacey side (something we seem to lack) .

This probably falls at Hughes door as dropping a big bollock it was way too gung ho when you have the champions in your next game.
