I think that is an overly optimistic view of what Alexander said to the T&A:

“I don’t think there’s much the medical team can do to speed that up.

“It’s more about Jamie’s power of recovery and his pain threshold, which I think is really high.

“He was trying to put himself forward for last night and the Crewe game. But he’s not going to make that.

I read that as Walker wanting to play but Alexander saying there is little chance before the middle of this month.

He was in a boot on Christmas day and GA said the bruising was on the bone. Sounded pretty serious. I'd be surprised if he was fully fit for Saturday.

I wondered where you’d been General, strangely because I just drove along Stonewall drive, General Forest drive (missed Lee Drive) and then onto Mosley Drive! Imagine living in a development named after some very “Confederate” icons. Not sure who Mosley was but I can’t see it being Oswald! Anyway, get well soon.
