Covid & Getting to see City at VP

Get yourself sorted mate, several friends/family have had Covid recently but it's been like a heavy cold or flu symptoms.

 

Always good to have a strong lady behind you .

 

Daughter tested +VE this morning , and we were all out for a meal yesterday. I cant afford to catch it! Bloody hell! Saving grace , jabbed to the max, just need the 4th!

 

All my family have had it. Most hardly had any symptoms but one was quite poorly. As far as I know I haven’t but like you have had 3 jabs. Too young for a 4th: loved saying that I did have a sort of cold a couple of weeks ago, but tested negative. So who knows!

 

Neither me nor the wife have had it , I suppose we are ultra cautious. Still wear masks in shops etc
I believe we will all get the 4th this year anyway?

 

Hopefully it becomes a bit more like the flu jab, but more widely available.

I don't think I'll bother with a fourth jab, I've had three and I've had the blooming thing twice.

 

Not a lot more you can do mate, were awaiting our 4th.

Tested positive on Monday, precautionary check before visiting elderly mother, been testing positive all week since, barely any symptoms. Also had all 3 jabs, seems to be a lot of people in our circle having it at the moment.

Had a bit of a heated discussion about this with someone the other day, who said they still went to watch Leeds play a couple weeks back despite testing positive, citing that they were doing 'nothing wrong'.

Whilst in the context of things that is correct, it's just purely irresponsible and morally wrong IMO to still go to a football match or any large event knowing you're positive, no matter how you feel.

Makes you wonder how many have done this at VP since it was no longer lawful to isolate..

 

Just recieved a letter from the NHS with two dates for my booster booster, so far I've had no reaction after the jabs so I'll continue getting them.

 

Great stuff Dave. More the merrier. I see they have brought schoolchildren back into the equation. It’s pretty grim in Essex, loads of kids off school, I think the Gov are panicking after more bad press with huge numbers infected. Let hope they haven’t fecked up!!

 

She’s been in bed most of the week, hit her pretty hard. We have tested almost daily but the big hole comes next week when people have pay for tests.
