Just been reading an interesting article saying Broxbourne Council (lower end of Hertfordshire near London/Essex) tested 2,000 last week and found 110 positive covid cases where the person had no symptoms. If you extrapolate that out to the whole population you start to see why this thing is spreading so much. Still, at least we have a (what were we told?) "world beating track and trace system"

A little warmer today for the dog walk

 

My niece, from the Netherlands, came over at Christmas. Basically to look after Grandma for two weeks to give us a break, and also assess her as the NHS can't at the moment. My niece is a 5th year medical student.

Over here, she did her isolation, got a negative test to go back to the Netherlands. After 5 days isolating in the Netherlands she got her mandatory test before returning to hospital. She was positive. She said, and I believe her, that she hasn't had any contact with anyone apart from flying and being on public transport. She was ultra careful. Still got it and completely asymptomatic.

 

I try my best and still have a 100% strike rate, unlike the private company trackers who have received millions in tax payers money.

I tend to leave the more creative arts to the lucky ones who have “the gift”.

If you are happy with “burning decks”
or Venezuelan capital cities then I’m right on it.Otherwise I’ll leave the more intricate stuff to the “chosen one”

For a start how do you know when you've finished?

 

Pathetic little toad has never answered a question in his life. Just like the rest of them.

 

I can only think that this variant is more easily passed on handles and doors or stuff but we don't seem to be being given that kind of info.
