All that is needed at the moment is to end the current season now, so that club's can shut down, rather than be left in limbo.

This just came up in my Google feed. Admittedly it's from the Daily Mail so maybe a fake story (haven't had the chance to look up another source). Five years seems pretty extreme. I'm surprised the 2nd division clubs agreed although I guess $845k a year each sweetened the pot.
