You should know some have selective memories they cant think beyond 12 months ago, he was a very steady performer for us in the 2019/20 season.

 

It’s a lonely existence for single players. Trust me our son lives on his own 30 miles away, he gets lonely at times. Before we moved South, living in Bradford working in London. Drive down Monday morning at 2.00am. In work at 0800am . Hotel existence until Friday, drive home at 3.30pm, get back to Bradford at 0800pm.

Doing that for 8 months wasn’t a pleasure trust me. Lonely….absolutely and I had a family!

Please don’t make out it’s a piece of cake….it’s far from it.

 

Bit of a tangent but I always read about players not being happy up north/ down south.

Always struck me as odd and a pretty lame excuse. England is small and samey in terms of life. Can understand if your family is settled somewhere, otherwise..

 

And “McCartan is better than Clarke”. Not fit to lace Clarke’s boots!

I think they play Harrogate tonight in the league, be interesting to see whether selected then.

Personally, I never understand why you would select a player for the bench if he is carrying a knock.

 

I think he’ll end up going down as one of those who never fulfils his potential, but he’s a nice lad so wish him well.

Still get a chuckle when someone on here said he was better than Meredith though, right up there with the Reeves is better than Cullen comments.

Wood confirmed as a orient signing tbf they seem to be doing alright on the transfer front.

 

That maybe true but he was pretty poor. The long aimless balls and misplaced shorter passes were embarrassing at times. Maybe he just needed a fresh start?
