    Up until recently he was up there as my player of the season. If it's true he deserves to be potentially playing in the Championship next season.

    Had to play him, the other one he bought has turned out to useless. If the lad wants to truly develop he'd be better off elsewhere.

    Aye, I've seen him a few times as the Aussie A-League games are on a Friday morning when there is nothing else on.

    He's at Perth Glory, who are third. Ryan McGowan is at Sydney FC who are top of the league at the minute - Sydney also have Adam Le Fondre. Anyone remember him?

    I hope this is a bollocks rumour. We need to get Wood to playing as he was earlier in the season and whipping balls in for Novak or Don.

    We have no one who can cross from the right as Mellor is shaky going forward. If Wood leaves it will hinder us a great deal as we often lack width as it is.

    If we lose him we are going to have to rethink our style. Bowyer liked to play 5-3-2 with Wood and Mellor/Henley as full backs, and for all Mellor and Henley can defend, they don't offer anything at all going forward, whereas Wood did. With Longridge out on loan we don't have a natural left footed replacement in the squad? We might get by defensively playing Henley at LB or Mellor there and shifting AOC to RB, but it is going to stifle our attacking output, which is limited as it is.

    He has. And when you see him second in the league cross completion charts (or whatever the stat was) he is also going to be drawing attention from the leagues above. Him and Paudie are the two I think have the most potential in this squad, though Bowyer doesn't seem to fully trust the latter yet.

    I'm struggling to think of a worse Jan window for City. Everything points to cutting costs and giving up 19/20 before its anywhere near done.

    This with us in the playoffs. What an absolute surrender. I dread next season.

    It could be Zico, GB was a full back I think. I saw him twice when I was back in October and he looked reasonably confident with a a good left leg. IF he is leaving, I really do hope a good sell on is included
