Love the way he's been recalled to cover injuries then loaned straight out again. Blatant lie.

 

Could be any number of reasons, to help him get used to playing in front of bigger crowds on a regular basis while keeping him at the same level he was doing well at. But could be because they had a change of manager recently, maybe they or he doesn’t like how he’s used under the new manager. Could just be we offered to pay more of his wages and it’s closer to home for him.

 

What's not to like about him? Attacking midfielder, scores goals and is a likely replacement for a player you don't like. And he has trained at the school and liked it as well.

Pulling him to bits because he’s got 5 goals in the pizza cup against youth teams ........... can someone remind me what our lot against one of these youth teams ????? Didn’t we well and truly get beat by one of them ???

It is odd that a player who was playing regularly for a league two team has been recalled by his parent club allegedly because of injuries and has then been sent out to another league two club.

We must have almost guaranteed a start for him or perhaps paying more wages or maybe it's a loan with an option to buy? Hartlepool fans must be mystified.

 

We developed Lewis O’Brien well for them and he went back into their side, so that can’t have done the relationship any harm at all

 

The first three signings tell me that 4-2-3-1 is here to stay and the output of Cooke/Vernam/Gilliead et al wasn't up to the level Adams wanted.

And/or Watt? There's been some suggestion that Daly has been playing deeper than his label as an 'attacking midfielder' would seem to suggest. And still scored 7 goals.

 

Cast your mind back this time last year, we got shut of some beauties.

 

Not sure about this signing.I think his goals might cloud the actual picture. He only has 2 in the league and the rest are in the papa johns. I’m not sure Hartlepool rated him that highly.

Its a selling point for what we can offer loan prospects that no other club in this league can. I.e. the demands of playing in front of 14k fans who expect a home win every time the team plays, is a genuine test that parent clubs will be interested subjecting their prospects to. Means next to knack all when attracting permanent signings, but for development loanees its a genuine factor
