Started off saying we should be solid and not concede cos he's scared of saying we should hammer teams at home.

In the second half he said something like... If there's quality in the quality then quality will shine through.

Standard nonsensical Kiwomya-ism.

No idea who the other clown was on the radio with kiwomya who said "it just shows the depth in this squad when Omari patrick and hope akpan come off the bench"

He had to say walk. If Omari ran he'd trip over his own feet.

 

Well they’d certainly walk into Oldhams team. They were awful and will struggle if they keep that defence

I'm all for ex players being used as analysts and local lads will always be favourites. That said, Kiwomya is dreadful. Inarticulate. No insight. Seemingly no tactical knowledge. Seems a nice guy but we need a bit more. Jacobs is usually excellent.

 

I disagree almost entirely. Kiwomya has a pretty boring voice and he is, like many footballers, not gifted with an extensive vocabulary. However, I find his insight into tactics and player expectations and habits quite interesting and useful. Pointing out gaffes and confusion is easy because it's what happens to anyone during a live broadcast. He's an ex-pro footballer not a pro journalist.

 

Please bring the Pulse back! Couldn't make today's game so had to sit in the car to listen to bits of today's commentary - only radio I have with MW frequency! Far from ideal and the reception is not the best.

I will be buying a cheap MW radio but just goes to show how lucky we were to have multiple coverage. On another note why did Leeds have coverage on both DAB and FM when Town played last night. Give us FM and they can have DAB and MW that way we all get decent coverage!

 

He actually did, only 5 minutes after coming on.

 

His insight into footballing tactics is about as insightful as Mike Bassett!

 

Shame Bantams Smalltalk can't take over radio coverage. Nick at the helm with Andy Kiwomya as co host. Match made in heaven.

 

Hallam is already Part of Bauer, they have bought up pulse and the rest of the wireless group as well as UKRD which is Stray and Minster among others. Pulse have blamed poor audience, costs and return on investment as the reasons they dropped coverage. I have my own views on this. They asked the club to subsidise then which was rightly refused. There’s no chance of a return IMO

 

I think the audience dropped last season because people stopped caring about City, and that’s the main reason IMHO. Even I couldn’t be bothered listening to the likes of Coventry away etc, and even the home games that I didn’t bother attending when I fell out with City.

I think a fan base more in love with the Club (as is now happening) would result it better listening figures.

Pulse coverage was far superior to Radio Leeds and it’s a shame it’s gone.
