    It's been some time since any of us thought about Jimmy Speirs, who helped us win the FA Cup for the 1st and only time in 1911, I think the 1st winners of the present FA Cup made by Fattorini of Bradford. http://www.jimmy-speirs.co.uk/4901.html

    Jimmy died in the 1st world war. I went to Dochy Farm some time ago and took a photo of Jimmy's grave in Dochy Farm, Zonnebeke. http://www.jimmy-speirs.co.uk/13005.html. My photo is lower down that page.

    WW1 was a horrible waste of life but we should respect those who followed the call to defend the nation's and the alliance's calling.

    No poppy emoji available. But just a thought for Jimmy Speirs.
