There's no doubt Collins tried, so he'll get no stick from me on any kind of personal level.

It was the right move, it was much too early for him, and an extremely poor appointment from Edin.

Edin should be embarrassed.

 

Come on guys/gals we all know it doesn't matter who takes the job if Edin continues to interfere with the football side it will be another stooge.

Sadly it is the correct decision but I also feel sorry for Collins. Rahic effectively dropped him in it when he clearly wasn't ready.

I acknowledge that Collins understood the risk he was taking when accepting the position, however, the fact he didn't even apply for the job in the first place tells me he didn't even believe he was ready. I suspect he felt some pressure to accept the job but he also probably saw it as an opportunity too good to be missed - therefore he isn't blameless.

I wish him all the best for the future and hope he makes it in management.

Hope MC now gets the chance to learn at the right level, and to progress his career over time. Should never have been put in this position.

 

Well didn't think it would happen so soon, but sadly a necessity.

Although I wanted him gone, I do feel for Collins. Young coach well out of his depth, this could end his career before it's started. Rahic want's to be ashamed.

As for a successor, I'd guess at Abbo but hope not. Won't hold my breathe to get excited.

Got to feel for Collins a bit, didn’t apply for the job, gave up playing and was doomed to failure from day one. Wish him well, hope he gets back in to the game and succeeds.

Would Greg Abbott really put his health at risk?
I doubt it.
He's a proud man and loves City to the max you can see that in his face .
During the warm up on Saturday he was laughing and joking with the defence at the far side of the stadium,96 minutes later he looked a broken man.
No way should Greg put himself through anymore regardless of what fans think of him he's done the best he could under strenuous circumstances.
I hope he takes a well earned rest away from VP.
Time to put number One first in my opinion.

Fair play really. Bad appointment, made worse by the fact we spent so long looking for a manager and then gave it to someone internally.

The board have realised their mistake, the squad isn't that bad although we look light in centre midfield we should still be better than most the teams in League 1.

Get a proper manager in, so the players can be coached into a system and understand how to defend and remember how to pass and we should be okay.

Who did??? You are the only guy on the planet that thought it was a good idea. If it’s Abbo there will be a meltdown but whoever you have picked I wish you’d just feck off.

 

If true, he should consider the root of why he needed to intervene. And minimise the role that Rahic has to play.
