At this level Doyle is good solid keeper. Look how much we missed him when he was injured last season. I for one hope he signs on again.

 

I think it does mean something @Ricky. If he was intending to move clubs I think he would simply have tweeted about playing for Ireland and returning home. It wouldn't be very media savvy to include the bcafc hashtag if he was moving on. Doyle always strikes me as a sensible user of twitter.

 

Also made 4/5 very good saves.

 

I believe Doyle is a good division 1 keeper . Yes we need a good backup and the yongster we have on the books . Doyle showed his worth when he returned back from injury after the two clowns who cost us dearly. Regarding keeper errors even Premier keepers make mistakes ask a scouser.

 

His wife has made clear in her tweets that they are thinking about moving house as they may have to move school to ensure their son's special needs are properly catered for. In fact she said "it's nothing to do with football."

He’s been away for three weeks with the Ireland squad. His wife has said move house for a new school not necessarily move city for a new school.

No evidence at all to say he won’t sign a new contract

You don't normally start knocking walls down in your house if your about to move elsewhere.

 

I think a study of the best defence's at any club through time would reveal the all had a decent keeper, but being City and all it's "experts" we must have been the exception to the rule.

 

Unless they can't sell their gaff because one of the bedrooms isn't big enough, lack of kitchen/diner etc etc?
TV shows like the one Dion Dublin presents (how???) are all about knocking walls down to "increase the perception of space" and therefore become more appealing to a potential buyer.

He is a decent enough keeper at this level, we've got other areas to focus on.

My concern is that he hasn't already signed a new contract. I suspect we will be looking for a new keeper.

 

Well about 30 seconds before I posted it, not sure I would get permission of the missus to get out more though so I will have to ignore that suggestion.

I suspect so to. Don't blame him. He needs to do what's best for him /his family.

 

We have a good young back up already. He signed a contract a few months back. Let's give him some games.
