Survey gone out to supporters asking if we want ATMOSPHERE SECTION moving to the lower kop?

Very poor survey. All options are claret buttons with amber writing, no matter which you click on the button turns completely amber and the writing vanishes :D quality build.

Surely they need to give more information? The NWC is a terrible place to watch a game or generate any atmosphere, so it needs to move, but just "the lower tier of the kop" isn't very helpful. Which block is the target? And what will happen to the current ST holders in that block if this is a 'Yes' vote that is passed? As that will instantly chance if people want to vote yes or no. Are you going to be made to move seats and if so, to where?

I'd be more than up for it to go in the lower kop. Not sure how they would work it though. Might upset a lot of the 'sit down FFS' brigade.

For me NWC is the best seat in the ground.
    Leg room and great view.
Imo the club should honour the safe standing they proposed which would get more supporters going In the NWC and generate a better normal matchday experience.
The play off semi was quality in there.
Needs to be like that all the time

Not the most detailed survey, would myself and/or people I sit near have to move to make way? Would I suddenly have a drummer (which I can’t do with and moved away from when we played Exeter in the cup a couple of years ago) behind me? Why aren’t there other options such as the upper kop? Feels like it’s probably happening regardless and they’ve just done it as a tick box. I put no anyway, I’m happy to stand all game but not with a drum in my ear.

I voted yes, the atmosphere has died completely since they moved to the NW.
Stick them in block A lower tier, where all fans will benefit from the noise they create, plenty of spare seats in the other blocks, if fans in A wish to move.
The atmosphere created against Wycombe, when they were in block B was super, with less than half our usual turn out.

It worked in the back of K block, so why mix things up again when they could just put them back there. Fiddling whilst Rome Burns

Shouldnt the bigger question for the club be around making more than one section has some cheering, chanting and "atmosphere" going on? I'm assuming that the clubs mentality is, if the section is moved to say Block A, they might encourage blocks B & C to get involved, as well as the upper lop and maybe the end few blocks of the main stand?

But we've 16/17,000+ home fans in VP every other Saturday, do even a quarter of us get involved in chanting/cheering/clapping? Doesn't seem it. I know the product on the pitch has to give something to make noise about, which it hasn't for a lot of the season, well, the past few seasons.

When the original section was set up in the NWC it began with rave reviews unfortunately due to a gradual decline in playing fortunes and matchday attendees it's become a bit quiet and sparsely populated in that area.
Having supporters nearer the pitch generating noise as got to be a better option there's definitely more interaction during the game corners been one such observation.
Regards people been moved isn't it strange how people react to the clubs basic survey.
Further discussion can take place with those effected should this proposal go ahead.
It's a basic poll to guage supporter interest nothing more.

When there is something to shout about there is atmosphere poor performance and poor results leads to lack of atmosphere

much agree with this, having frequently moved from stand to stand season by season i do feel the upper NWC offers the best overall perspective, it was close to the kop for the noise, offered a really good view and actually felt a bit more protected from the cold.

I personally moved out of the when it became an atmosphere section. I dont mind it myself but the kids were younger at the time and some the behaviour around them was quite dickheadish and i ended up losing my rag a couple of times with the plantpots who infiltrated the original North West Kollective gang.

Id be happy to vacate my seat and move back in there next year

We'd have to move them when the away team needs more than the 2 blocks of Midland Road.
