F*cking scary stuff, isn't it. By far the most important global issue, especially for anyone under the age of 60.

Already seeing the effects, and it's hard to imagine what the world will be like in 10 years, yet alone 50.
Huge increases in natural disasters. Mass displacement leading to migration crises like nothing we've had before. Disruption of global food supply chain. Droughts and water shortages even in the UK.

Only positive I can think of is that the idiots who were previously burying their head in the sand about it are starting to see sense and acknowledge it as an issue. Huge step from that to any kind of action though

Comments like above. Do you have kids? If doing some small things and making changes meant that potentially things would be better for future generations, surely you’d do it? It’s comments like this that make me sad it’s unlikely that you’d be around to face the negative consequences that you so haphazardly dismiss.

Plenty of things are been done and the EU and the UK are at the forefront in carbon emissions, The ozone layer is repairing itself as well as other positives, Lots of people are doing great things to improve the planet we live on, But maybe if those that get paid to whinge about it and those that keep going on about it actually did something positive and helped those at the front end cleaning the planet might save it quicker

This post is pretty vague, what are people doing, what makes you think 'those that keep going on about it' aren't doing something positive, and what else do you suggest they do to help?

Also, if 'going on about it' raises awareness and brings it up the political agenda then isn't that already something positive?

Because my experience is that those that whinge rarely do anything else but want others to do it

Climate change...? no such thing, it's the natural order of things....
This 'ole rock has been flying through space for the last 4,500,000,000 years and how long are we here for ? 70/80 if we're lucky...!!
enjoy life, don't worry, it will sort itself out, we'll probably blow ourselves up anyway before nature does.....

Are we not just coming out of an ice age, and therefore warming up?

Radio 1 had something on about this the other day.. something to do with people suffering with crippling anxiety about climate change.

Do not get me wrong, I do understand that anxiety and depression is a serious issue... But to have it triggered by climate change seems a bit extreme.

If people wish to do their bit in helping with it then fine. But don t go preaching to everyone who will listen... my thoughts are the same on religion.

I'm pretty sure Religion is very real indeed whereas it could be argued that we aren't really affecting climate change in the slightest and it's just the natural timeline of the planet.

Religion exists, definitely, in people’s heads (and that’s fine), but their’s not a scrap of evidence to support it...Plenty for climate change though.

I just don’t why people aren’t honest about what they really think, and just admit they don’t really care.

The massive rise in Carbon Dioxide levels from the 1950s coincides with the massive increase in the level of vehicle use which has no doubt contributed, The fact that the EU supported the use of diesel engines because they were heavily manufactured in the EU despite evidence they were a major polluter also has contributed,
