    Called up for international duty for Kenya so he'll miss the Grimsby match. His first call up since his only game in 2020.

    Happy for him but we could really do without this with the amount of injuries especially in the middle, he's one of the few players who can create something and he's just coming back from injury himself. If we don't get anyone else back from injury it will probably mean either a change in shape or Pointon could be in line for his first start.

    Kenya are due to face South Sudan a week today so it looks like he'll miss that one. They don't play in October's international window but have 2 WC qualifiers in November so he could miss the Barrow and Notts County games.

    Oh he would and he will become a go to team member soon enough.. He developed in the last 6 weeks….Surprised me tbh. The longer he plays the better he gets on current observations. I don’t buy into conspiracy theories. If they are good enough they will play when the time is right.
    Remember I watched Stuart and Dean Richards grow up through club ranks from kids and they didnt become first teamers over night. Even over several different managers. Who would have guessed Hughes would have allowed a rookie player who had been at the club 48 hours to take a pen last week? He did. That confounded any critics, but boy would they have been on his back if it was somehow missed?

    Let’s let the lad develop properly.

    Certainly hope so, and absolutely agree he looks like a lad who can and will make it. Still have my doubts as to whether it will be under Hughes, but time will tell.
    Throughout the pre season games and the opportunities he’s had this season he’s done himself no harm whatsoever

    At least he wont be missing for a month for the AFCON in Jan. Kenya were disqualified by Fifa from the qualification groups before even kicking a ball for Government involvement in the team in 2022.

    We don’t know Olly, but it’s certainly one step closer. The more game time he gets the better. Hughes is showing faith in Bobby, otherwise he wouldn’t be using him as a sub so frequently. In my opinion , if he wasn’t going out on loan then a gradual introduction seems to be the way forward. It appears the management team think the same?
