Those who stayed till the end and clapped, be ashamed of yourselves. What on earth goes on in your head to appreciate that shower of shit? Give your heads a shake.
Disgraceful all season, but some people accept that.

A bit of class from GB in giving young Lewis chance to get the recognition he deserves by bringing him off before the inevitable damp squib ending - he has played so much more than any of us would have anticipated and I wish him well wherever he plays next season

To be fair, they pay their money just like you do and surely can do what they want? I decided not to go to games a couple of months ago as I didn't think the winkers on the pitch were worth my time. Therefore I could say that anyone turning up to the last few games 'should be ashamed of themselves' but they can do whatever they want to do, it's their time, their money, their hands...

Stayed til the bitter end just to see the reaction. Didn’t clap (other than L O’B)but didn’t boo either.

Very weird end to the season, not witnessed one like that in the last 20ish years.

A very bizarre end to the game. I stayed to witness it for some sort of perverse pleasure, more in respect of Wimbledon staying up than anything else. That lap of honour was one of the strangest things i've seen at a football ground. The players had no intention of doing it but then were sort of railroaded into it by enthusiastic City staff. Like a walk of shame by the time it got to the kop. My lad said i spent most of my time shaking my head in disbelief. I'd have said about 50/50 in terms of happy clapping and booing. Hope i don't have to see the likes of it again.

Exactly how I saw it. It was like we were waiting for something to happen that never did.

Wimbledon fans were class today mind.

I did what I said I would do. Turned up to observe the minute’s silence and stayed until after the 56th minute (which was still too long).

I left as soon as the chant ended. No way was I ever going to stay until the end. What makes me laugh, is the OP complaining about fans applauding yet he was happy to stay until the lap of ‘honour’. What did he stay for?

It was like watching @Keefly Bantam@Keefly Bantam doing the walk of shame in the early hours of Sunday mornings.

I didn't know where to look.

I left at the end with no intention of watching the lap of dishonour.
Would have been more entertaining had the coppers battened the little shits at the Kop end of the ground trying to get our club fined by the FA.

Might be more to it than I thought as I was in Midland Road but it looked like someone was giving Akpan some stick as the non playing staff were brought down to the side of the pitch before the game finished , from what I could see was what looked like Akpan had to be stopped from confronting a supporter who seemed quite animated towards them , looked like the player liason lady and the lad that looks after the mascots had to calm him down and keep him away , Kept looking over to see as not much happening on the pitch , maybe someone in the main stand could shed some light

Resident moaner over there, without fail every match he'll pick on 1 player to abuse all match and sub off after 10 minutes then go to the front and give them abuse at the end of the match regardless of how they played. He started shouting off at Akpan with his usual rubbish as soon as Akpan started walking over he quickly sat down but carried on shouting off knowing Akpan was being stopped.
