I was bored last night so I thought I’d ask Google’s new AI bot for its all time Bradford City starting XI. Here’s the results

    Goalkeeper: Colin Doyle
    Right-back: Gareth Evans
    Centre-back: David Wetherall
    Centre-back: Trevor Cherry
    Left-back: Wayne Jacobs
    Midfield: Stuart McCall
    Midfield: Chris Kamara
    Midfield: John Hendrie
    Forward: Bobby Campbell
    Forward: Paul Jewell

I see it’s gone for an innovative 4-3-2 formation. It also described Colin Doyle as a key part of our 1999 promotion winning side and Gareth Evans as ‘a solid right back known for his pace’

Some work to do I think.

That's why we shouldn't trust AI to run our lives going forward.

Did Evans even play more than half a dozen games at right back?

He could have played every game at right back and still not be in the top 10 at right back.

Imaginative but so wrong on multiple counts.

    It’s a meh from me.

And some “ in the know” want AI to run our lives?

    There’s hope?

It's made me feel a lot better about the current media panic. Redo it in 10 years. If its got Beagrie, Blake, etc in there, then I'll start to worry.

If you specifically asked for Bradford City's all time starting XI we shouldn't fear AI with regards football but I'm with @Petrov@Petrov.

    Goalkeeper:

    1. Gary Walsh - An experienced goalkeeper who played a crucial role during his time at Bradford City.
Defenders: 2. Stuart McCall - A legendary player who had two successful spells at Bradford City, primarily as a midfielder but could also play in defense.

    1. Ces Podd - A highly regarded right-back who made a significant impact during his tenure at the club.
    2. Andrew O'Brien - A solid central defender who contributed significantly to the team's defensive stability.
    3. Ian Cooper - An accomplished left-back who spent several successful seasons at Bradford City.
Midfielders: 6. Chris Kamara - A skillful and influential midfielder who played a key role during his time at the club.

    1. Gareth Whalley - An integral part of the midfield during Bradford City's successful spells.
    2. Stuart McCall - As mentioned earlier, McCall's leadership and abilities warrant him a place in midfield as well.
Forwards: 9. Dean Windass - A true legend at Bradford City, Windass's goalscoring prowess is legendary, including a famous goal in the 1999 Division One play-off final.

    1. Bobby Campbell - A prolific striker who had an outstanding spell at the club during the early 1980s.
    2. Nahki Wells - A modern-day star, Wells had a sensational goal-scoring record during his time at Bradford City.
It's worth noting that there are many other notable players who have represented Bradford City over the years, and individual opinions may differ when selecting the "Best Eleven." This lineup is based on historical achievements, impact, and popularity among fans.

Surely John Hendrie must be up there. And without doubt in my opinion Peter Downesborough was the best keeper

So nobody from City when they played in the old First Division pre World War 1 and the FA Cup winning team?
Seems to start selecting players from the 1980’s onwards.
I am sure Norman Corner would have been the all time ‘Forward’ if it included players from the 60’s and 70’s!;)

Just out of interest I tried it again to see if it had learnt anything. If anything it’s worse now. Still only picking ten players, and no, I’ve got no idea who Eric Skeels is either

Colin Doyle is a goalkeeper who is known for his reflexes and shot-stopping ability. He was a key player in Bradford City's promotion to the Championship in 2013.

Harry Hendrie is a right-back who is known for his pace and crossing ability. He was a key player in Bradford City's League Cup run in 2013.

Stuart McCall is a centre-back who is known for his leadership and tackling ability. He was a key player in Bradford City's 1985 League Cup victory.

David Wetherall is a centre-back who is known for his height and strength. He was a key player in Bradford City's promotion to the Premier League in 1999.

Wayne Jacobs is a left-back who is known for his crossing ability and work rate. He was a key player in Bradford City's promotion to the Championship in 2001.

Eric Skeels is a midfielder who is known for his passing ability and vision. He was a key player in Bradford City's 1985 League Cup victory.

John Hendrie is a midfielder who is known for his dribbling ability and goalscoring touch. He was a key player in Bradford City's promotion to the Premier League in 1999.

Allan Clarke is a striker who is known for his goalscoring ability. He is the club's all-time leading goalscorer with 211 goals.

Jimmy Hanson is a striker who is known for his pace and finishing ability. He was a key player in Bradford City's promotion to the Championship in 2013.

Peter Beagrie is a winger who is known for his pace and crossing ability. He was a key player in Bradford City's League Cup run in 2013.
