Someone tell Kiwomya Harrogate isn't in West Yorkshire

 

So much wrong with us I don't know where to start.

 

Has Reece Staunton completed a pass yet? Fed up of seeing him lump it to no-one

 

On the ball we are utter rubbish.

Final pass is just shocking.

 

It's no wonder way Sutton was playing at RB for Scunny. He's no midfielder. He's pants.

We really are a shambles of a football club. Disjointed from the start, tactically we didn't look right, we have obvious flaws in our side. No goal threat at all. Outplayed from start to finish and Losing at home in the league to Harrogate should have this club examining everything that it's about. We really are a pointless entity under this regime. Abysmal.

 

there is absolutely no point in being a midfielder for Bradford City.

Second best from one to eleven. Regardless of the result, being taught a footballing lesson by the might of Harrogate fecking Town is a new nadir for Bradford City AFC. It's a good job the fans aren't physically there, the disquiet would be palpable.

 

Sky commentator reckons we will play worse than this and win. Comment baffled the schiznit out of me!

 

What has happend to Cooke?? Apart from the chance he should have buried he was nowhere to be seen.
Sutton tries hard and is busy but can't pass a ball. Watt was useless and Novak might aswell have stayed at home.
Donaldson was our best player tonight and put in a solid shift with little reward.
I feel like McCall changed the shape to get Evans into the team but once he went off at HT we should have changed formation. Whatever he was trying tonight didn't work.

 

Bit of a summing up for what it’s worth.

-We sit far too deep and this allowed them to play tonight.
- no width at all. Full backs can’t really get forward as we don’t keep ball enough. Therefore zero supply except scraps for front two
- Donaldson was actually half decent in spells with what he had. Some good hold up play and flicks.
- Sutton garbage. Runs around a lot but so could I. What’s his position?
- French looks lightweight and panics on the ball. Either a first time deep cross or a pass back
- watt had some really tidy touches and tried to pass forward and quickly. If we could get him in middle with a ball winner we’d be ok in there.
- Clarke again doesn’t have a position
- formation all over shop. I’ve never seen a diamond work ever at this level. Why did he play that? What was he trying to stop?
- Daniels looks raw and is not a replacement for vaughan.
- no real pattern to the play from us. Some nice touches then mindless hoof to no one. Nothing from set pieces. What do we do in training?


Mid table team again this season. Nothing more

 

You forgot wonder boy Clarkes contribution - just how much possession did he give away - he was shocking tonight.
Only good things is we have only played 4 games, we cannot get much worse so we must and will improve. The midfield is poor, not firing on all cylinders and the strike force we have is poor but is not helped by the lack of chances created. High balls up to our front men are a waste of possessions they lose almost all of the duals with the marking defenders or do not even jump. Still think we need to add at keast 3 short based on what we have seen so far - as Samuel as a 19 year old will not be the answer in the striker area at the moment.

 

I don't see how they can know what their role is when it changes from game to game.

 

To be honest the whole midfield was poor. Watt had a job done on him by their captain and was lucky to stay on the pitch.
Cooke and Samuels both had clear cut chances to score but we just lack any kind of composure.
We desperately need a tough hard tackler in the middle of the park and we have 4 days to rectify it.

 

Stuart almost getting mad again when questioned about the quality of players and recruitment.
Seems we’re seeing how it goes in January in terms of more signings.

 

I see gaps in our squad, absolutely. I've said before that I think it's the poorest squad in my lifetime. BUT coaching and tactics play a huge part, and I defy anyone to say that Harrogate have a better group of players. They clearly have a better team, based on that.

What was our system? It lacked balance in every way. I couldn't even tell you our formation if I hadn't seen it beforehand.

 

This match reminded me of a cup tie. I knew Harrogate would be really up for this from the first minute they pushed us back and probably worked harder than any team I have seen at VP for a long time. We will go on about how poor we were which doesn’t give Harrogate the credit they deserve. They followed a plan worked harder and were better than us all over the pitch. Let’s hope it’s a one off
