Nothing wrong with 352 providing Mellor and AOC play it correctly.
They were the biggest issues with it on saturday.

We've hit the post, had 2 decent chances and one cleared off the line.

Patrick just tore 3 people apart, Gibson crossed and French was just short of a tap in.

We seemed to start 433, then go to 3 until devitt went off.

 

I'd actually quite like us to win, Jon. It doesn't seem we're good enough though.

 

Gibson has a 10 or 15 minute spell in a game where he looks half decent, the rest he's just a bang average footballer, certainly has never looked anywhere near good enough to nail down a permanent place.

 

No matter what level the game is losing is a bad habit to get into.

 

If the Radio Leeds commentator tells us "the average age of the Bolton team is 19" again, I'm gonna shove that mic up his @rse

Bolton's young lads did themselves proud tonight. Clearly infused by the crowd and the lad who scored their goal looks a real prospect.

 

Yeah that's how I see it. I'd happily trade all 4 for 1 decent midfield player. They're all different flavours of the same crap. Soft, sloppy in possession, no end product, poor decision making. The only one who has a chance is Gibson, because if he can improve his composure and decision making, he does have some technical ability. And both those weaknesses can be improved through experience.

 

And still no sign of McCartan ?

 

Bowyer saying its a privilege to be involved in the game. Deflecting the performance a bit.
Devit done his hamstring. Pritchard was outstanding. Didn't think the goal should have been disallowed.
One or two have given him something to think about. One or two also let themselves down.
