I just hope for 100% effort and not for us to roll over on TV again

 

Cannot see there being 12000 there. I think actually supporters in attendance will be nearer to 9000

 

I hate to say this but I literally dread every game we play at the moment. Not been a fan of city as long others as I'm only 21 but in the 10 or 11 years I've had a season ticket it's the first time I've ever felt like not going to the game. We have a team that don't seem to want to fight and off the field problems that are making for an awful atmosphere around the club.

 

Think we’ll lose this unfortunately,Shrewsbury will be fired up for this having just been beaten by Lincoln in the checkatrade trophy final.Congratulations to Lincoln by the way.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing Gibson playing in the no 10 role or if not then on the wing with Robinson on the other. Devine would also get a start and the young 17 year old left back that's been getting attention from prem clubs should also be given a taste of men's football. I would rather see us lose with a young squad giving its 100% effort and desire than a load of senior pro's that couldn't give a shit. I would also give Brunkner and Grodowski a start up top and leave Wyke with his best chum McMahon well away from the starting 11.

 

Really pleased for Lincoln City in the Checkatrade Trophy. Well deserved,but I fear we will face a backlash from the Shrews as a result. Another 2-0 defeat in front of the camera's. Seems to be the norm these days.

 

Just think you have 50 plus years to go !. After the fist three or four times this happens to City you will get immune to the downturns and problems that befall City and you will learn to hang on to any small glimpse of a brighter future for City

 

Yeah I can't wait. All part of being a football fan I suppose. It's not always going to be good times

 

But the successes when they come will live with you forever

 

The odds are stacked in Shrewsbury's favour to win the three points on offer but stranger things have happened.
The seats might be empty around me and my optermism fadeing as the season draws to a close but i can't turn my back on the club I love regardless of club politics I will be there.

 

It’s the first home game in years and years where I’ve actually thought shall I bother . Expecting a really low crowd after saturdays result and also the sky factor . Personally Carnt wait for the season to finish now

 

Would love to see quite a few left out and as much yoof as we can shoehorn in . Sick of watching sub standard so called professional players not putting a shift in

 

Don’t worry, City has been to the cliff edge a few times and we always come back.

 

Our teams nearly always come up with the unexpected, so although we are not in a good state atm, I can see us winning this one.

Can someone make a starting team that has 11 players and features none who played blackpool apart from Guy?? Im interested to see one..

 

Hmmm...it can be done, but the potential for disaster is certainly there!

Assuming Reeves, Lund, and Jones remain out with injuries, and we cannot recall Hanson or Hudson we could put out a 4-4-2 of sorts:

Raeder

Staunton - Laird - Dieng - Knight-Percival

Gibson - Devine - Maltby - Guy

Grodowski - Poleon

Subs: Sattelmaier, Gunner, Peters + random selections from the crowd

At least all have had some first-team experience this season. But the overall inexperience scares me. It's also, I'd suggest, unfair on Robinson to leave him out.
