So go by supporters opinions then. Many say far better than league 2. The CV is far superior to Vernham s. Did I want Vernham to stay. Yes. Chapman could be an upgrade

Well if he wants to play in front of 9,000 people every week under an inexperienced manager instead of 15,000 and under Mark Hughes then that’s up to him.

That sucks, it was expected but it still sucks. He was a good winger for this division and it'll be hard to enough to replace him with let alone improve on him.

A little harsh.
But I have been perplexed by the Vernham and Paudie 'love in', whilst Watt gets more criticism than praise - when he's the one who's got the best potential.Inspector likes this. -
He scored 8 in 33 last season - no idea where this 12 in 28 had come from - see below

And he often played as a third attacker and in fairness to Adams he gave him license to roam.Bronco likes this. -

Would loved to have kept Vernam but we only saw the best of him in the last 4 matches playing for a move? He disappeared for parts of games. But at the top of his game he was good. But I wonder want their fans think of signing players from a “bang average league two side”

Although Vernam’s a very good winger for this level, at league 2 a well run club should be able to replace such a player. I suppose that’s where the risk is with us, not so much that we have lost him but who will he be replaced with. Only time will tell, I’m dubious due to our record since Rupp took ownership.
Had we not regressed like we have, then we’d never have signed a player like Vernam let alone losing him to a bottom end league 1 club. Just another blot against the running of the club. Come on now City, give us some positive news and let’s actually start moving in the right direction for the first time under this ownership. I have no ill feeling to those that have left, but if in a years time they regret not staying then it’ll finally mean we have got our act together. Suppose all we can do is wait and see, let’s hope the positive turnaround starts tonight.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...banbrotam likes this. -

" 18 months of service and some memorable moments. Thanks for your service, Charles, and all the very best!"
Really.
I'll go with the all the very best but the 18 months quote is way out IMO.banbrotam likes this.
