Edin was right not to let Stuart sign him.

 

Why? He was only ever a short term option anyway so may have been fine to plug a gap for a while.

 

It was pure folly to let Kilgallon leave and the same with McCardle, All for the sake of a few pennies, McCardle may not be the best CB but usually won his challenges in the air and he would give blood rather than concede a goal, Just what we lack now a committed brave leader at the back that the rest can rally round.

 

I think we've managed to move out all the players who gave us the special times and the spirit went with them.
It all has to be renewed somehow but it doesn't seem to be happening yet.

I, like others, thought we'd recruited well but rather than make a good squad we've had a poor chef to do anything
with the ingredients so here we are.I know it's serious now,we are losing ground rapidly and it will take a complete
reversal in form to gain ground and ever threaten a play off place.By the time DH can recruit,we maybe cast adrift.

My initial enthusiasm has waned and now I am not throwing wobblies like I would when we expected better so although
I am concerned about our future,I just live in hope that a miracle will happen in January.

He would be a great signing but I read a Championship club are monitoring the situation.
