I haven't seen any update from the club (I might have missed it) however just a heads up that Carlisle tickets are now on sale. I've just bought 2. Web sales fee now £3, bloody rip-off :eyes:

Do you think this game will be a sell out for Bradford tickets. I have no loyalty points . I'm in Edinburgh and my 6yr old son has become a Bradford fan since Jamie Walker joined and were hoping to buy tickets for it. I could get tickets in Carlisle stand but would prefer in with Bradford fans

I would think having only a small allocation and it being on boxing day, it will sell out fairly quickly

I'm not so sure. It will sell out I expect but it will get to general sale. If it were to sell out via season ticket holders it would have done so today.

No trains, playing on the Scottish borders in mid winter is usally the kind of game that gets postponed due to either flooding or frozen weather and on the back of the no show of the last 3 games, people are likely to see how we fare this weekend first.

It's only gone on general sale to ST holders today at half 12 so there could now be a rush. Yesterday and this morning it was still a pretty high number of points needed to get a ticket.

We played them in the same fixture 3 years ago and took a healthy following that day, no reason we can't do the same this time around?

I now see we have been allocated over 1500 tickets, so yes it most likely will make general sale as you say. I read somewhere else we would only get 600 tickets this time, obviously a fallacy!

No reason we can't have 2,000 tickets, is there?

That's how many their away end holds.

They've given us much less for some reason Jon and on the City website it says that no more would be made available.

Hmm. Not sure why that would be.

    Perhaps police advice, who knows?

    Absolute joke of an allocation.
They have the ability to house 3000 away supporters with the terrace, but quite clearly something is up.
    Supporters behaviour at away matches??
If so why haven't the club said anything??
1540 is the allocation for Boxing day.
I would say they will be all gone by the end of this week.

Maybe the police have got involved with regards some of our away followings, isn't this the 2nd/3rd away game we have not been given the full allocation we have previously.

    Is that £3 per ticket?

No, £3 regardless of whether you buy 1,2 or 20

it was a quid not so long ago, then recently went to £2. Last few games it has been £3. Really don’t understand how you pay a premium for the staff not having to do anything, yet visit the ticket office and take up their time and it costs no extra. Pathetic in these tough times

£1.50 a ticket. £10.50 extra it's just cost me for the Carlisle game.

I might have to start just turning up so actual humans can serve me instead. Apparently employing someone must be cheaper than providing online sales these days.

The cost is down to the ticketing provider not the club, they add the fees to cover their costs and so they can make a profit.

Every cost is ultimately down to the club. In this case it's because they choose to outsource that side of sales instead of having it "in house".

Every club outsources the ticketing as it would be in no way worth it to do their own ticketing system. It's industry standard across all sports, leisure and entertainment.

I'm not saying it's cost effective but it is in their control and ultimately the cost is down to how they decide to run their business. That's the only point I was making.

I thought it was now illegal to charge for card transactions and the fees needed to be built into the price ... So would be same wether you call or buy online

I run an online business and had to remove card processing fees a few years ago

It's not a card transaction fee, it's a "web sales booking fee".
