He certainly adds a bit of dynamism Adie. Where would he fit Gilly or Walker spot.? Harsh on those two because Walker is getting back to his old self and Gilly would be better defensively.

I think, all things being equal then he'd take Gillleads spot. I've been impressed with Gilli's performances this year, he's really stepped it up but Pattison is definitely the better and more dangerous player.

Gillead will still play his part though and get plenty of starts as he may even fill in as either wing back if needed.

 

You could argue a case for starting Gilli away from home and then either Pattison or Walker. At home I would start both.

Yeh, Gilli at RWB or LWB do me if Halliday or Richards aint fit.

 

Maybe but I think and to be fair we've also seen that Pattison will also do the dirty work and hard yards that Gillead offers us.

Contrary to last season though I've no issue with AG starting games currently as he's earned his place and is playing well enough to help it. He's finally contributing at both ends and long may it continue.

Agree Dave , certainly merits his place. Hats off to him, Mr dependable and as you say able to play a few positions. Brill to have on the bench too. Pattison needs to get fully up to match fit first before thinking about the defensive duties perhaps?

 

Pattison has the end product in midfield also a good battler and assist man. good timing to come back

 

Yeah, Pattison absolutely needs protecting. My point was that with everyone fully match for and available he'd be in my first XI for a one off match.
