Signed for us on 31/1/2020, can he get to 30/1/2021 without scoring a single goal?

So far ‘appeared’ (I thought about using the word ‘played’, but thought better of it), on 11 occasions for zero return.

Even the great John McGinley scored 3 in 18 appearances and Aaron McLean a huge 7 in 36 appearances.

For those who like a flutter, then perhaps worth a bet? Ten games to go to the end of a full year!

I think it is now well over a year since he scored a goal for anyone.

James Hanson did it so he's following in good footsteps.

I said yes, one. There's always a defender who might smash
a lazy clearance onto Guthrie's backside and ricochet into
    the net.

He has had some really rotten luck though. None of his team mates has sussed out his Maradonaesque runs into the box

Scored on his Sheffield United debut on 4th Feb 2017 and finally scored again 43 games later for Wimbledon on 13th Oct 2018. So pretty much 18 months rather than a year.

Ironically his goal for Sheff Utd was scored against Wimbledon.

    This is a disgraceful thread.
No Bradford City player should ever have this sort of rubbish addressed to him by a supposed supporter, especially one with theoretical
position of responsibility on this site

Yeah because threads on here directly affect his ability to stand upright and trap a ball?

    What a nonsense post.

If it makes you feel better though I'll post it instead of bigrod because Guthrie is absolute gash and if he does actually read it, gets upset and never wants to play for us again, it'll be an absolute bonus.

He is terrible, but in all fairness this hasn't been a normal first year at the club. The lad has only managed to play 432 minutes in a City shirt due to the world breaking down and also his injuries ........ and lack of ability. For reference, below is the list of our recent forwards who played regularly and their first 432 minutes.

    Hanson scored 2
    Wells scored 3
    Clarke scored 1
Stead failed to scored in his first 432 mins (Stead needed 641 minutes to score his first)
    Wyke scored 3
    Doyle scored 1 (pen)
    Vaughan scored 2
    Donaldson scored 1

In his year before signing for City, he managed 13 goals in 2850 minutes of play (1 every 219 minutes) at a struggling L2 team.
